‘The ancient ones say…’
Who? Who are the ancient ones you speak of? Where are they from? When you speak of ancient ones do you mean physical beings? Native storytellers tell stories that have been past down from generation to generation through the voice of the elders. I would imagine that some are past down from father to son as well. I also believe that some are past down through dreams or simply intuited by the storyteller at the time the story is being told. We all have the ability to intuit, to listen to our spirit selves, our ancient ones. But, how do we know it is they who are speaking and dare we say anything when we do hear or sense spirit. Acting upon or speaking through our intuition is a scary proposition. It could be the perfect opportunity to make a fool out of oneself. Worse yet, if you feel you did make a fool out of yourself who can you blame…the author?
